Its November 2007. A couple of special things happened in October. David came back from Iraq after about a year and a half. During that time I decided to keep a secret from him. I thought it best not to add to his then stressful time out in Iraq. Well, the time came when he returned home. And it was time to tell him my secret. The secret made me weak and yet stronger because I became part of a group of sisters. I survived, I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. Now that he's back I told him my secret only to find out that he had known for a couple of days. He was told by others because of an article of me in the October's issue of Mix Magazine. All in all I did the right thing. I explained why I kept the secret and he understood.
